Why we built this
The maritime industry is global, but its digital tools haven't kept up. Vessel sales are scattered across outdated portals. Charter enquiries go through chains of brokers. Equipment sourcing still runs on trade shows and word of mouth. Job boards are generic and disconnected from the industry.
We built Global Marine Platform as one structured place where maritime professionals can do business, without the clutter and without unnecessary intermediaries.
Who's behind it
Global Marine Platform was started by a Dane and a Norwegian, based in Norway, who worked together in the maritime industry and kept missing one thing: a single, serious place to trade vessels, source equipment and find crew. So they built it.
We're new, and we're small. That also means questions get answered by the people who built the platform, not by a support queue. More about the team as we grow.
Our part of the deal
Browsing is free. Contacting a seller costs one token, so sellers hear from serious buyers only. Every vendor is checked before their first listing goes live.
And once we've made the introduction, we step back. The deal is yours.
